Project Team - Tajikistan

Bahrom Abdullaev

Bahrom currently works as Program Specialist. He graduated from the Technological University of Tajikistan in 2011 with a degree in Economics and Management. Following that, he worked as a Program Assistant for a USAID project to supply clean drinking water to rural areas of Tajikistan. Bahrom also has considerable experience in the business sector, where he worked as a marketing specialist for a large commercial company. Bahrom speaks Russian, Tajik, and Uzbek as native languages, and is also highly proficient in English following a year of intensive study in Houston, Texas, US.

Husnoro Mirzoeva
 
Husnoro Mirzoeva is Program Assistant in Tajikistan. She is a Dushanbe native. She graduated from the Tajikistan Institute of Innovation Technologies and Communications in 2009, with a degree in Global Economics. Prior to joining EFCA she worked for GIZ on the regional program "Support to Microfinance in Central Asia." She has also worked as a trainer for Population Services International (PSI) and as a multimedian journalist for the website Jadid Media. She speaks fluent Tajik, Russian, and English. 

 

Ravshan Abdullaev

Ravshan oversees the implementation of the project in Tajikistan. Ravshan has worked at EFCA since 2009 and been Director of EFCA, Tajikistan since October 2010. Before joining EFCA Ravshan was an active journalist and photographer, focusing on economics. He held the position of Editor of the monthly publication “Tajikistan- Economic Review” and was a reporter for the Institute and War and Peace Reporting and Avesta new agency. Ravshan was also active in civil society, working as Director of the NGO “Voice of Youth” between 2007 and 2009. He has attended a number of international workshops and trainings in Scotland, Ukraine, Turkey and the Czech Republic. Ravshan has a Diploma from the Technological University of Tajikistan in International Economics and a Degree in the World Economy from the Tajik-Russian Modern University, Dushanbe. He is married with no children.
